Resume Services FAQ
No, I don’t write resumes for clients because I believe there’s greater long-term value in teaching you how to craft your own. Every resume should be tailored to the specific job you’re applying for, so a single, generic resume I create won’t work for every opportunity. Instead, I focus on teaching you how to create a strong, customizable master resume. With this approach, you’ll have the skills to refine and adapt your resume to stand out for any job you pursue.
If you are looking for someone to provide this service I have consultants I can recommend to you.
Yes! Both services can be applied to private sector or state/local government roles as well -- and they are cheaper.
After we agree on a service, I will send you follow on next step instructions along with a secure payment link through this website. For resume review, payment is generally due in full before I send you back the edited resume. For resume coaching, payment is due at the end of our 90 minute video session. I am open to payment options if you are unable to pay the full price upfront.
Price for each service depends on serval factors, including length of your resume or work history and the time frame you need the service completed. Generally speaking, resume reviews start at around $100 and resume coaching starts at around $225. Clients of both services will receive my federal resume template ($15 value) as well, included in the price
More specific information, including a quote and next steps, will be discussed during our free 20 minute consultation. To schedule, click the red button above.
Nothing is guaranteed but your chances will be higher. I have about an 80% success rate. My career journey has allowed me to master techniques for crafting a federal resume that I'm glad to share with you.
There are many reasons a candidate does not get referred for a job or never hears anything after applying:
- They were not qualified to apply for the role
- They did not tailor their resume properly
- The role was pulled or lost funding
- They were qualified but not the most qualified.
